Principle
MACOPRESS Smart (MPS) is an automate intended for the separation of a whole blood unit into blood components. It is compatible with all blood bags currently available. The MPS can operate as an independent unit or it can be connected to a distant computer and supervised by the DMS+ Data Management System

All opening and mixing functions are fully programmable and controlled by the MACOPRESS Smart program. Manual cannula breaking is time consuming and can cause RSI** and haemolysis. Our system has proven to be effective, reduces time and generates reproducibility and standardization.
